These guys are the REAL DEAL,how good ? a few years ago i changed the channel i had been watching on to a music channel and heard this amazing song called 'you can't stop me' and was hooked briefly turned away and missed the name of the band, i was fuming i then had to sit through loads of mediocre videos until these guys were back on,got the name brought the album the next day i was beyond hooked a week later brought the rest of their albums, i am from england this is my favourite band. think metallica, bruce lee, star wars, ayrton senna, valentino rossi this is my favorite album of all time hands down, why Henning,Dennis,Stefan are formidable tight musicians i can only compare them with metallica doing their own thing not being sheep and being damn good at it, and then the vocals of Sandra Nasic she has a range of singing styles and vocalisation of which she is master and if your honest you have never heard before so good that when i was playing one of the songs off this album a friend said wow who are they, so good another time my sister said whos that girl who was singing? listen, to 'quietly','electric nights' 'pretty in scarlett' love the humour in this video, 'counting the days' 'storm' and although they are not on this album, listen to the song standing for the action sung live and two VOCALLY,MUSICALLY AND LYRICALLY PERFECT SONGS 'STAY' and 'DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON ME' before i heard of them and for want of a better phrase this was the style of music i dreamed of hearing and they actually made it reality!!!!!!!!!! out of 10,THIS IS 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A fantastic Album - this shows that GA have matured into a really interesting band. It differs quite a lot from previous work as this is is more metal/hard rock based rather than their older more crazy material. But still Sandra throws out some amazing melodies , but again like the older stuff she still has loads of agression that creates an unreal amount of energy. The guitar work is also mightily impressive, the riffs are huge whilst in other places are very melodic and calming. The best German alternative band without a doubt.

The third album from Guano Apes is an absolute, infectious joy to listen to. In essence, it's moderately heavy rock with strong, melodic female vocals; it has punk, pop and funk overtones which all merge seamlessly into a CD you won't be able to take out of your player. Highlights include soaring opener 'You Can't Stop Me', fast-paced 'Kiss the Dawn', and moving 'Pretty In Scarlet'. There are plenty of changes in tone and tune to keep you interested, but the overall impression is of an exuberant band at the top of their game. Buy it.

Oh....My.....Goooddddddd.....I really rather love this album. I didn't think anyone would better 'Don't Give Me Names' but this is phenomenonal. Every track is scary rock fun. There are definitely a lot more layers to this album, they do bring the pace down a lot but that means when it explodes back up it's something quite special...
Thankyou to the Guano Apes for another great one and heres to many more.
