5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant follow-up to "Crossroads"
Though they're a new band, Blazin' Squad are probably one of the most popular groups in the UK at the moment. However, seeing as they've only been known for about 4/5 months, you'd be forgiven for not knowing who they are. So here is a brief history! Blazin' Squad are a group of 10 boys from Chingford and Highams Park in Essex. There are 9 MCs and 1 DJ, all aged 16 or 17...

1.0 out of 5 stars Failed again
Once again, Blazin Squad hav failed again to make any kind of credible, non Boy Band music. Once again, if you are looking for this song because you heard it on some 'poptastic' radio show, or you've seen it on TV, the review of one annoyed music fan won't sway your opinion of this track. Once again, Blazin Squad hav failed again to make any kind of credible, non Boy Band music. Once again, if you are looking for this song because you heard it on some 'poptastic' radio show, or you've seen it on TV, the review of one annoyed music fan won't sway your opinion of this track. This is because you're out looking for a boy band tune, and luckily for you, you've found it. However, if, whilst cruising aroung looking for some good tunes to add to your collection you glanced towrds this 'gem' of the music world, look away now before you are turned to stone forever. Like any good boy band, they have at some point decided to try and rap. Unluckily for them, they've decided to stick with it. Whoops. They can't rap, and shouldn't try and write lyrics, because they can't do that either. Throughout the entire song they go on about having 'love on the line' with, dull, slow, uninspiring lyrics. The only one of the 'MC's' with talent is a singer, and he is talented. Pity the song he's singing contains the rest of Blazin' Squad, and no meaningful content. So, if you want a Boy band, look for a boy band that can sing and write, like Backstreet Boy's. If you're loooking for some talented rappers look at anything else.

There are 9 MCs and 1 DJ, all aged 16 or 17. They've known each other for ages and formed the group about 3 years ago while they were at school. It's difficult to put their music into just one genre - it's partly garage, partly pop, partly r'n'b...there's a big mixture of influences. They've been dubbed So Solid Juniors, but they're totally different. Blazin' Squad don't rap about guns and violence at all as they haven't experienced any of that. They also don't swear in their lyrics, as many of their fans are really young. They released their first single, "Crossroads" in August. It shot to no1 and this follow up, "Love On The Line" looks set to do equally well. It's got a strong, really catchy chorus - it gets stuck in your heard for ages!! - and the MCing is really good. It's just as good but completely different to "Crossroads" - it's a lot more chilled out, definitely aimed more at girls and the chorus is less repetitive. I really recommend this, so even if you've never heard Blazin' Squad I'd give it a try!
