There's alot to be said for great music and i'm gonna say it! The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been a fore runner for years in the category of funky rock music. 'The Zephyr song' is taken from their new album 'By the way. The band work together as a whole element and you hear this come across in their music. 3.0 out of 5 stars luke warm and fuzzy
Second cut from the Highly acclaimed By The Way album finds the the Chillis in a rather more plaintive mood. The psycadelic groove harks back to hazy afternoons and whilst it doesn't have the nonsensical zip of By The Way, the emotion of Scar Tissue or even the chorus of Californication expect to here this from nearly all the U.Ks pub juke boxes.

There's alot to be said for great music and i'm gonna say it! The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been a fore runner for years in the category of funky rock music. 'The Zephyr song' is taken from their new album 'By the way. The band work together as a whole element and you hear this come across in their music. Anthony keidis' vocals send shivers down your spine and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy. John Frusicante' melodic guitar riffs mesmorise even the most sceptical listeners. Flea has always brought his own feeling to the music with his pounding bass and the zephyr song is no exception. Finally drummer Chad Smith adds the back drop to the whole song with his perfectly timed drum beats. All of this put together makes for one of their most soulfully gratifying songs to date.
