4.0 out of 5 stars French do it again!, 8 Dec 2002
This review is from: Satyred Love (Audio CD)
Rob's first album Don't Kill was a great mixture of seventies progression, 80's synthsounds and sound of nowadays. His new album Satyred Love includes all the same things that was listed above but now the music is getting more pop. When i listened this album for the first time i was a little dissapointed but few times more made me realize how good this album is."Introducing Satyred Love" reminds maybe most of the first album. But for example "king lover's" soft pop(listen to the chorus how he mixes shameless pop melody with 80's synthlines and funky guitars and it sounds great!!!), "Do you mind if I keep on watching you's" R&B influences, "Never Enough's" naive pop and "Love bizarre's" epic proge proves that Rob can mix different styles together with no shame and he does it with a good taste.I can feel that French smile on his face. This record proves again that best pop music of today comes from France. They just know how to mix all the good things from different kind of styles and make it sound good together. And Rob is not the only one.
