4.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Bonkers!, 2 Aug. 2002
This review is from: March On Electric Children (Audio CD)
This band are one of the latest bands to be touted by producer Ross Robinson who is currently overseeing their new album (although he doesn't appear on this one in question) However if you are expecting these guys to sound like ANY of the bands he's produced in the past (Korn, Limp Bizkit, Machine Head, etc.) you will be disappointed. The Blood Brothers sound is a strange mixture of blood curdling screams (courtesy of the dual vocalists), rockabilly guitars and schizoid arrangements. Songs whiz by in a flash before you get the chance to register the fact that they've mangled you're brain. This whole album clocks in at a whisker under 25 minutes in total. However, this is a far from bad album. I loved this simply because it was different and every song is never long enough to lose your attention. The singers must also be praised for the vocal talents, switching from child-like warbles to blistering screeches in a heartbeat. The upcoming album should be a belter and this serves as a spicy little taster.

woahh, from the very first powerchord your held, in awirl of avantgarde craziness and the most craziest of timeings and styles (including bossanova!)this has to be the best thing since at the drive in.Ross robinson seems to have a knack for the next big thing and i dont think the blood brothers will let him down.
