The cds were in very good condition. The paper case looks also almost unused. The music is very good, some songs are my favourite.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy going late night grooves, fantastic album art, 30 Dec 2010
This review is from: Beach House 04.02 (Audio CD)
This compilation is a fantastic laid back album, a mix of tunes that suit a laid back easy night. Both CDs are fantastic and are a reflection of the excellent mix that Hed Kandi made during 2002. A lot of tracks have a soulful vocal backing to them, my favourite example being How Deep Is Your Love on CD1. Combined with this is the fantastic art direction of the Hed Kandi series and the beautiful album cover. The only downside to the album is that some of the music is of the type that was a bit overplayed in 2002, however this shouldn't be too much of a negative on this otherwise fantastic music and art package.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hed Kandi makes my life so beautiful, 24 July 2002
This review is from: Beach House 04.02 (Audio CD)
This, the 3rd Hed Kandi summer-themed compilation, is the perfect sucessor to the previous Beach House releases. With the darker, harder beats now making up the deeper series, and the funky, disco tunes now being served up as Stereo Sushi (both highly recommended), Beach House 02.04 can concentrate on Something Hed Kandi do rather well - providing the perfect sun kissed grooves to accompany a Balearic afternoon by the pool.
The selection reflects the previous editions, featuring a absolute beaut from Naked Music staple Miguel Migs, a recent credible chart hit in the form of "Lazy", a classic track from comedown queen Beth Orton, and inclusions Subliminal man Richard F and Jon Cutler (whos usual "Its You" is thankfully replaced with the luscious "U Groove Me").
If your looking for an antedote to the endless tide of The Best Chill Out Ibiza Ministry of 2002 in the World...Ever part 17, then look no further, as Mark Doyle certainly knows how to select 'em.
