Amazing album for fans of metal and rock, filled with deep guitar riffs and amazing solos. highly recommended album for the price!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad
This is an enjoyable album to listen to, but is by no means a classic. Not much here is very original nor is it going to break any boundaries in music, it's just a good listen.
The opener "Ride of your Life" is a decent song and you can notice the similarities in the voice of the singer immediately. It sounds (and looks) like he's trying to be Layne Staley...

This is an enjoyable album to listen to, but is by no means a classic. Not much here is very original nor is it going to break any boundaries in music, it's just a good listen.
The opener "Ride of your Life" is a decent song and you can notice the similarities in the voice of the singer immediately. It sounds (and looks) like he's trying to be Layne Staley... something which I doubt anyone could pull off.
But there are some good moments on the album such as "(I Feel) Down", "All My Friends Crush You", "Stars in my Eyes" and sometimes the music is quite varied in styles, for example on "A Lot of the Same" the song kicks off with Kyuss esque riffs followed by Mudvayne style screaming.
I picked this up cheap on eBay so I didn't mind it so much and I do listen to it from time to time. Not sure wether I would pay full price for it, but that's your choice. It's quite a decent album, but nothing new.
