5.0 out of 5 stars a horace andy/ trojan must have
this is a superb, and skillfully compiled chronology that illustrates horace andy's distinctive and soulful tenor. commencing in a rock steady style, through 46 tracks that are hard to fault, and concluding with strong roots and dub material. the 'big' tunes of this era are included - 'skylarking', 'money money' etc - and are placed due to order of release, rather than of...

This review is from: Feel Good All Over: Anthology 1970-1976 (Audio CD)
this is a superb, and skillfully compiled chronology that illustrates horace andy's distinctive and soulful tenor. commencing in a rock steady style, through 46 tracks that are hard to fault, and concluding with strong roots and dub material. the 'big' tunes of this era are included - 'skylarking', 'money money' etc - and are placed due to order of release, rather than of popularity. typical of trojan to be responsible for such quality, these single artist anthologies are essential for the newly interested as well as for established fans. also check out similar packages featuring dillinger, sly 'n' robbie and prince far i. 'feel good all over' is, i feel a superb companion set for the 'skylarking' collection. now to explore his dance hall cuts.
