5.0 out of 5 stars More Cafe Wonders
After buying the first Saint-Germain des Pres Cafe, when I saw this follow up I bought it instantly. While I still hold the first edition as the best, this is yet another awesome collection of funky nu jazz dance tracks to jig to. Although this version omits work by Jet Set Productions and Taxi there are some pleasant surprises such as Mo Horizons cover of Hit The Road...

2.0 out of 5 stars Some bad tracks
Well, it starts really good, the beat is nice, not annoying and the jazz is great. After few tracks it changes to something like R'n'B and with a really dated sound and cheesy singing.. After that it goes back to jazz with some great and some just ok. But you know, one bad track can ruin the whole compilation and here there are a few. I think vol.3 is can be better.

While I still hold the first edition as the best, this is yet another awesome collection of funky nu jazz dance tracks to jig to. Although this version omits work by Jet Set Productions and Taxi there are some pleasant surprises such as Mo Horizons cover of Hit The Road Jack and Kaori's Good Life. Yet another seamless collection to add to the first-fire up the coffee machine again!

This album is class. The tunes all have something to offer. The Herbie Hancock track is immense and shows he still doing great new stuff even though he must be nearly 70! How can a man write a great drum and bass styled tune at his age? Only he knows. This album is worth it just for the last tune though. It is simply gorgeous!!!

I brought this Album after buying the classic must have album The Tourist and was very happy with it. That is until I got volume 3 that blew me away and is a hundred times more tuneful and interesting. Its still worth getting to complete your collection as no one ales can put together a compilation like this.
