I first heard the track "So Low" on BBC London last June courtesy of Ross Allen and immediately fell in love with it. Beautifully produced by Spacek it has a wonderful sound - a downbeat rhythm to die for, driving bass guitar, great vocals and just stands head and shoulders above anything else out there at the moment. Thumbs up also for using a pedal steel guitar in "Structure" to great effect which also features a terrific string section. Difficult to categorise but always a joy. I know nothing about this band but can't wait to find out more about them and see which direction they choose to take. Talent and musical ideas abound so it should be worth the wait. A worthy addition to any collection that includes the likes of Radiohead, Spacek, even Kruder & Dorfmeister

I Have been waiting for this Cd to come out for about a year, and it was definately worth the wait!! Every track is truely inspirational. Their clever use of acoustic instruments and electronic noises makes every song completely diferent. You can feel the message and soul in every song when you listen to it for the first time. As if that wasn't enough the string arrangements by Caroline Daniel are out of this world - completely exceptional! 'Structure' alone shows the amount feeling and talent that 'Custom Blue' have. I would personally reccommend this album to any one with a soul. If you have one you'll love it! It's Perfect for driving in the car, sitting at home with a bottle of wine, and after seeing their recent gig at 'Cargo' amazing live. I see this band becoming the next big thing - so all i can say is 'All Follow Everyone'!!
