2.0 out of 5 stars Why?
I bought this DVD because I like fantasy/fairy-stories.
The underlying idea is not bad, although not very original. But I wonder what the makers of the film were thinking of while making it?

I bought this DVD because I like fantasy/fairy-stories.

The beginning is embarrising, because you have the feeling the actors don't really belive in what they are doing or saying. The acting, the speach is as if they now it's a bit stupid.
Although the main caracters are nice it is as if the whole film was made "with the left hand" (meaning that they somehow didn't care or did'nt know what they were doing). A pity with an idea that could have been made into something really dramatic.
And the sound - at least in my DVD - is terribly bad quality.

The action in the movie is great and keeps the kids entertained but without violence. Not only does the movie have action but also has tender moments which touch on family values and wholesome ideals. This is one to watch and have at home when you have a crowd of kids and need to keep them all entertained !!
