5.0 out of 5 stars Louder Than Bombs
As an ardent follwer of both The Smiths and The The I originally bought this on it's release date and it has graced my CD player for nigh on seventeen years now. I felt compelled to buy the remastered version and am very happy that I did. Mind Bomb always was a strange beast - two very different musicians, with different tried and tested methods of producing songs,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Very good album.
Very good album, with some quality tracks. Love "Kingdom of Rain" in particular.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute must for Smiths fans, 4 Mar 2007

There are obviously other driving forces behind Mind Bomb but its hard not to hear the sheer genius of Johnny Marr shine through. If you ever wondered why John Squire (Stone Roses) or The Happy Mondays held The Smiths in such high regard, then wonder no more. While those Madchester bands were interested in hedonism and The Smiths wallowed in societies crushing idiocycracies, there is a common a trait and that is Marr! To pick songs individually is to ignore the symphonic quality of a much under-rated album. 8 songs just over 45 minutes long, it could have been recorded yesterday. It is an absolute pleasure and comes highly recommended.

Not a bad album, but not one of the best compilation of songs/tunes from THE THE's repertoire as far as I believe
