5.0 out of 5 stars The Anti-Divorce Anthem, 15 Dec 2001
Blink 182s new single taken from the album "take Off Your Pants And Jacket"
This Song Shows Blink 182 going for the more serious approch instead of the usual "one liner" jokes and making fun of your mom stuff.
"Stay together for the kids" is about 4 minutes long which is reasonably long for punk song but the style of the song reflects this, it is deep and meaningfull and makes you think about life.
This is an excellent song, heavy at parts yet slow and mellow at others, Tells you how it is and that divorce shouldn't happen.
In the words of blink 182...
"its not right, its not right"

5.0 out of 5 stars Even rivals 'Adam's Song', 27 Mar 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Stay Together for the Kids (Audio CD)
If you thought Blink-182 were just a trashy American punk band, think again. This song is emotional, yet hard, laid back yet heavy. Blink have managed to mix their usual style with something more thought provoking. This is the reason why I have given this song 5 stars. After releasing 'First Date' they have moved to the other end of the scale with 'Stay Together for the Kids'. It has the qualtiy in it that so few songs have: it makes the listener sit back and think about what is being sung. This quality gives the song the ability to even rival 'Adam's Song' from 'Enema of the State' which is probably Blink's only other song like this, and possibly their greatest. If this song doesn't reach the dizzy heights of the top 3 in the charts, there has been a serious miscarriage of justice. It's a great song, which may even change the thoughts of those who hate Blink-182, to making them enjoy their music.
