When I heard that they were remaking the orginal Sabrina Fair I thought they were waisting their time. Why bother when no one could be as beautiful as Audrey Hepburn? When I saw it in the cinema I thought it was good but the orginal was better. Later on when I saw the movie again I reconsidered. The chemistry between Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond is fantastic, you can feel it coming through the screen. A fantastic film for when you are in a romantic mood

This is one of those films where you spend the whole film trying to hate a character but by the end of the film you're hopelessly in love. Harrison Ford is spectacular and comes across as a paradox of gruffness and sensitivity, still maintaining his sex-appeal. Its a great film to watch on depressing rainy days and watching it over and over is not a problem. One last thing for all the women who read this, buy this film, get you're friends over and enjoy!!!

Any movie with Harrison Ford in it is sure to be a hit, and this is no exception. Ford plays a seemingly callous businessman who as the story develops, grows more and more endearing. Together with Julia Ormond who plays her role elegantly and sweetly, they bring an element of classic romance to this beautifully directed modern-day fairytale.

I never saw the original film so cannot compare to it. But on it's own this is a excellent classic romance film. Linus (Harrison ford) is the bad guy in the love triangle between him, David who is Linus brother and Sabrina. It's the chemistry between Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond what makes this film brilliant.

My favourite scene has to be in the boardroom where they wind up Linus to prove that he really loves Sabrina and that he should fly to Paris to be with her.

A fairy tale with imagination and originality.

It was always going to be hard to beat the original Hepburn and Bogart, but it compliments and modernises it nicely: Witty dialogue, charming and credible behaviour without clumsy stereotyping, lovely supporting cast and of course top class leads (just a hint of ham, not out of place in the fairy tale genre).

Now: Must rush off and see it again!

Having seen both variations of this film in the last few years I have to say that Harrison Ford is much better off as a believable older lothario than Humphrey Bogart, who, looks incredibly old and looks as if he has a hang over and has been Chain smokeing all day, which he probably has! they should have put Carry Crant in this part, Bogart was not a good choice for the part but that,s another story. Audrey Hepburn is equally bewitching as Julia Ormond, or the other way around, in the part of Sabrina, although Julia has not shown this incredible vulnerability as a young girl in other films, or at least not to my knowledge. The part played by Greg Kinnear and William Holden is almost identical and I can,t fault this, although I think the Ferrari is more appropiate than the characterless car used in the earlier film. It was interesting to see the update in technology as regards the toys that where used by Linus in the 40Yr gap in the production of these two films, lastly I have to say that both films are pure fantasy, but very very enjoyable.

Whilst the original had the delightful Audrey Hepburn, this version has a slightly better script. Harrison Ford is superb as the cold and unfeeling Linus. The best line is 'Do they call me the world's only living heart donor ?' Julia Ormond plays a fantastic girl next door turned sophisticated woman to adore.
Get your missus, get out the popcorn and watch this film, it's funny and charming but not sentimental. These qualities are sadly very rare in today's films.

A great film remake of an Audrey Hepburn classic from the 50's. In some ways an improvement on the original, especially the casting of Harrison Ford who was an improvement on Humphrey Bogart who was really too old.

It's a movie that anyone should keep it for good and see again and again, time to time. I love Julia Ormond and Harrison Ford but I also like all the other actors' performance.
