5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful story telling followed by music
The story teller is fabulous, really drawing you into the story. Thestory is then followed with the piece of music reflecting the story. Itis a brilliant format. My 5 year old loves being allowed to listen tothe story and then the music as part of the calm down before he goes tobed. Although small children will enjoy it, the presentation and musicisn't in the least...

2.0 out of 5 stars Very bloodthirsty, very formal music
The stories here are not structured beginning-middle-end like you might be used to - they're meandering and odd and very bloodthirsty, with people being tortured and having their eyes put out and their hands and feet cut off. Also the music is very formal, it brings to mind (for me) Russian cavalry officers under the Tsar. Not a big hit in my house
