I gave this album 4 stars because for me the final 3 tracks of the album aren't as 'up my street' as the first two, which are just phenominal. 'Dreams, come play with me' and 'Vina's lullaby' are simply beautiful and worth the album price alone - not just the compositions themselves, but the way in which they are performed.
The final 3 tracks are great too, but as I stated previously perhaps not quite as powerful (for me) as the first two.
The album doesn't focus on time signatures as much as perhaps 'bound' does, but successfully focuses more on melodicism.
A great album.

Cuong Vu's second album with the line up of John Hollenbeck (drums) and Stomu Takeishi (Bass); (first album : Pure). Continuing to explore the world of sound with loops and delays. Beautiful melodies, occasional thrash metal, Bjork inspired. Must be heard.
