4.0 out of 5 stars Good but better if it fitted into A4 folder
Over the years I have taken many pictures in film form and have collected hundreds of film negatives. I started the process of scanning in the pictures/negatives and wanted to ensure that they were all stored safely and preferably in the one place.

3.0 out of 5 stars Store negatives, but needs special folders and is two wide
Most negative strips from historical film processors were typically four frames wide. These are design to hold strips that are six frames wide. A product based on a A4 sheet format holding four frame stips would be much better, but are not available.

I had a look at several film/negative sleeves and decided that Hama presented the best value and quality. I was not dissapointed with the sleeves.
My only concern is that the sleeve holders are a bit bigger than A4 sheets and do not fit into a normal A4 folder. Hama, as do others, sell a folder designed to store all these sleeves but at a price.
I went to my local Staples office supplies and found a LEITZ folder that was cheaper than others I had seen online and in a range of colours.

These negative holders are ideal for 35mm films; they fit in various kinds of ring binders, and are made from lightweight - but strong - paper. They're easy to use and make it so much easier to find old negatives if I want to scan them for my computer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good, well-made product. Better than US alternatives, 1 Jun 2014

Simple binder, but good sleeves with no little spots to stick to or scratch your negs (as someUS alternatives have). I'll re-orfder my supplies from here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Safe strage at a reasonable price., 12 April 2014

I must say when I first looked at purchasing file sleeves I was surprised at the high cost of most of the items being offered. Costing around 10.00 on average for 25 sheets (with P & P). These however came in at around half that, and the quality of the sheets are very good. Cost aside the sheets are divided into pages of 7 strips each of which will hold a strip of six 35mm negatives. As negatives in the UK come in strips of 4 this is a tad wasteful but for me that isn't an issue. The sheets fit into my dated negative file binder perfectly. Pedants could if they like cut the sheets down to hold 4 negatives using a guillotine if they feel the need but really the extra 2 spaces are not a problem
