Firstly, Sardinas plays as the support artist for Steve Vai, in concert. If you know anything about Vai, you'll know that that is a very hard position to earn.
Sardinas puts absolutely everything into his music, especially in concert, and it really shows. If you like Vai or Satriani then you'll almost certainly like this guy. He is very tallented and is fast becoming accostomed to playing technical guitar.
Be warned - if you have stumbled across Sardinas in a Blues search, you need to know that this is solid blues-rock, with LOTS of effort and LOTS of good sounds.
Tracks like "Aggrivatin' Pappa" are a good indication of the caliber of music that Sardinas is capable of, and show that his technical guitar skills are fit to see him becoming very succesful, very quickly.

4.0 out of 5 stars Blues Rock with a hill billy country influence, 29 Oct. 2003
This review is from: Devil's Train (Audio CD)
Saw Eric for the first time at the Benidorm Blues Festival earlier in 2003. Didn't know what to expect as I hadn't heard of him. Neither had most of Valenciana since there were many empty seats. What we got was the best blues blast I have had heard for years. Fresh, stonkin, emotional music with lots of showmanship and superb guitar playing (the rest of the trio were good too!). Had to get a CD and this disc is a good momento. But it doesnt due justice to his live act - perhaps we will get a concert DVD one day! I would however recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh approach to blues music - and I do play it a lot!

To be blunt - it's a real fist-up-the-gizzard CD! Open your windows or it'll blast them out! Excellent stuff. I've seen him twice in concert (Astoria, London and the Colne blues festival) and he's even better in concert.
