Anyone who wants a racing sim with a difference should take a look at this game, the play is simple and you can race straight away without much hassle but the tracks get harder and more technical as you progress. Although catching air is good fun sometimes you need to slow down and think about racing line and which jumps to fly and which to take it easy, overall a good game well worth the investment

Okay, so it may be totally unrealistic - most mortal human beings would be dead before the end of lap 1 - but for sheer post-pub mindless entertainment this game has no peer. The controls are idiot-proof: no need to ever take your thumb off the accelerator button and the bikes turn on a six-pence. Add to this kicking up skip-loads of dirt, getting ridiculous air, top soundtracks and floor-vibrating SFX (this game justifies a home cinema system in itself) and you've got all the ingredients required for top-of-the-range brain-dead fun. May not appeal to the GT3 brigade, but if you want realism spend you're £300 on a track day rather than a games console.
