This is a brilliant track by Blink 182 who are showing their worth and sticking around as a great band following their other recent hits such as all the small things. A great record that kicks off the band's new album 'take off your pants and Jacket' and is the first track released from this widely amaited for album. With an equally outstanding video where the lads cash in the cheque for their video and spend it on stupid antics such as shaving the top of a womans head off and buying a television and smashing it just outside the shop. A great video to accompany a great track and well worth watching and listening to over and over again.

The Rock Show is a brilliant new song which brings Blink 182 into yet another new style. The CD also includes Aliens Exist from the Live album and the video to Adams Song which is the first time it has been made readily available in the UK

The Rock Show cd single contains 2 songs, The Rock Show and Man Overboard! The Rock Show first appeared in their latest album, Take off your pants and jacket and became immediately a huge success, combined with an excellent video. Man Overboard, firt appeared in their live album Enema of the State: The enema strikes back, as the only song out of 20 which wasn't live.
Great cd single, you should own if you like a lot punk rock music or just blink 182!

Another feel-good punk blast from the happy-go-lucky Blink trio. This deserves some recognition for its injection of punk into the world of mass market appeal. However, on repeated listenings it doesn't quite reach the dizzying heights of other areas of their work...but should still be purchased as the number one single at the moment by all blink fans or otherwise.

American pop-punksters, Blink 182, specialise in puerile humour, toilet jokes and loserdom. This latest single, taken from the new album, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, is more of the same. The Rock Show, doesn't deviate from the pop-punk blueprint one iota, everything's in place, from the crashing power chords, harmonious middle eight and loser in love teen angst lyrics. This has been done a million times before, and better. It's a catchy single, but it's not enough and just suffers from over familiarity, ending up sounding lazy and contrived. The live version of Alien's Exist is even more of the same, with its US frat boy humour that's neither funny, clever or interesting. All in all, you've heard this all before and done better, Blink 182 are just a bad version of Green Day and this is just a lazy and throwaway pop punk song that has nothing to say.
