5.0 out of 5 stars The best of their work, 8 Feb 2010

I had another listen of this album which I played so so many times through the 1990's and never tired of listening to it. It hasn't dated at all still full of those lovely deep bass lines and very original tracks, even in 2010. If you are after something a bit different from the norm, some slick bass lines, great samples, then look no further.

4.0 out of 5 stars BOMB the Unknown Territory, 27 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Unknown Territory (Audio CD)
Quite likely the hardest album of Bomb The Bass' to find, Unknown Territory has the distinction of holding a few great tracks. The opening track Throughout The Entire World is a great dirty funk electronic track which set a good mood. And that word probably sums up Unknown Territory best - mood.
Each song changes the mood and atmosphere of the album in a very interesting way. Switching Channels is more classic HipHop, Winter In July is a classic chillout track which is emotional in it's composition (With the later Ubiquity mix on the album changing it up again to more funky), with Liquid Metal being the closest thing to Prodigy that ever happened before Prodigy formed (Prodigy would add a more thumping bass and would be slightly more aggressive but the initial sound is there).

A brilliant album, one that you can easily listen to again and again, but not necessarily on loop.

Back in 1991 noone had made an album of dance type music. Then this album paved the way for sample-laden beat driven delights.
