I think that the title really sums it up. For me, I think they're great, they've got catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and they're good live. There aren't any filler tracks on this 'best of' compilation ... They could have added some less memorable tracks (as there are some!) but they've chosen this collection of songs, and most Echobelly fans will find hard to disagree with.
All in all, if you really like Echobelly, you'll buy it to add to your collection, but if you dislike them, there is nothing really new here that's going to change your opinion.

I was a big echobelly fan in the 90's (still am now) and this album is a great reminder of just how good echobelly where at writing guitar anthem songs. Their songwriting and playing has matured a lot since their ego album but thats not to say the songs sound dated or dont measure up to todays crop of indie kids. I had most of there stuff on vynl and wanted a convenient way of listening to their past hits and this album was the solution. Its a really good album and after playing it to freinds they cant believe they missed this band when they were realeasing such great songs.

Hard to believe that this album is nearly 10 years old, to me it was one of the greatest symbols of Britpop. Madan has an amazing voice which fabtastically reeks of Blondie teamed with catchy, appealing tunes. As with their debut, watch out for the sensitive issues that Sonia sings about, what a cool girl and a half...I would reccommend this album to those who like any of the following bands or who just want to try a new band: Blondie, Elastica, Shed7, Blur
