Featuring all the key Metalheadz crew from Peshay to Dillinja. Carving their own way forward in the scene with such tunes as Unofficial Ghost by Doc Scott and the dark Armoured D by Dillinja. This is a very dark, prototype album which demonstrates the different styles of drum & bass. Essential for any serious bass head.

If you're after break-core style, and as hard as heavy as it comes, look elsewhere. If you want to check out an album which sows the seeds of modern drum and bass as we know it, this is the album. It doesnt sound dated at all, and yet carries the echoes of rave and a strong jungle flavour that give it a real edge, an excitement that is missing in most, modern, more formulaic D+B productions. It's vaired across the different jungle styles - the best D+B album of all time, to my knowledge. If you like D+B and dont own it, it's absoultely seminal. If you like dance music and don't think you like D+B check it anyway, it doesnt get better than this.

back when metalheadz had the metalheadz vibe, that weird creamy darkness. every track on here is classic and you should be buying it. it never fails. digital, goldie, doc scott, peshay, dillinja, photek, hidden agenda, alex reece, lemon d, source direct, j majik, wax doctor. perfection.

Metalheadz are still one of the best labs. Rufige Kru begin this CD whit great track, you will just get the '90 feeling whit Rufige Kru. The it gets to orginal, starts to sound like Renegade Hardware. It don't sounds like the old Metalheadz records, dark and heavy, this is heavy and hard.
I woud like to see a record from Rufige Kru, al the old tracks.

Bought after reading reviews saying it was heavy/brooding etc! Expected something dark and mean but this is light and friendly. Straight to the ebay folder.
