I've loved this band for over twenty years and more. They only put out new material once in a blue moon but always deliver the goods. Amazingly, the older these guys get, the faster they play. Favourite songs on this one are the super-dumb "I Did It", Isley Bros cover "Nobody But Me" and the monumentally silly "Whack the Dalai Lama". If you love supercharged punk rock, but with great tunes too and lyrics that make you laugh out loud, then this is for you - go buy now!

five years in the making shows in the lick production of this album. There are no wasted tracks here, it contains both the newest singles plus a couple of trademark covers and all new material. A must buy for the grandfathers of punk.

O.K so they might not be the newest sound going, (they have been around since the seventies) but these guys can play. I'm normally into stuff like offspring and after listening to this CD I can see where bands like that have hailed from. It's not as brilliant as "Idjit savant" but it's still a brilliant punk CD. The melodies are really addictive and the detail of the songs completely sets this band apart from all the rest. It's another hit from a top band.

On the same parallel as Dawn of the Dickies and just as fun. It is hard to believe one can get so many clever little musical tricks, intricate chord changes and strangled vocal octaves and harmonies into less than 150 seconds. (Rosemary)
These boys are the business although after 35 years I still cant understand the lyrics properly but thats half the fun.
Heroes to a man. Stukas over Disneyland indeed.........................

Here we go again with another crazy manic-paced offering from the greatest punk band ever !!!.Typically outrageous songtitles and mind-boggling lyrics are the Dickies trademark but not forgetting the blistering speed these tracks are belted out.My fave track "Donut Man" takes me back to the heady days of the late seventies when i was pogoing all over the rockers and the teddy-boys at the local discos, now that's going back longer than the dinosaurs.Try listening to "My Pop The Cop" if this doesn't rattle the old bones you must be well past the "sell by" date.Anyway i just hope we don't have to wait another five years for the next CD cos i'll be in my forties by then and no doubt senile as hell.Buy this it's better than any of the dull chart material todays youth is forced to endure.Long live "Dickie-Mania"

The Dickies just get better & better. You can see why this album took so long to complete - every song has a great meoldy, they are varied and they're beautifully played. The album has a similar feel to Idjit Savant but I believe the production and diversity of the songs is greater. Quite how this band is overlooked is criminal - If you like the Offspring, Blink 182 or Weezer the BUY THIS ALBUM.
