5.0 out of 5 stars Blake Babies return at last..., 28 Sept. 2001
By A Customer
At last, the Blake Babies have ruturned to grace us with an album that reminds us just why we fell in love with them ten years ago. Grown up both musically and mentally, Strohm, Hatfield and Love reveal just how far they've come as musicians and songwriters over the last decade; the songs are more developed than say those on Earwig, having a much stronger form and better production throughout. The same Blake babies sound is there though and that's what makes this album just so loveable. A guest appearance from Evan Dando adds to the albums richness and diversity. His haunting vocal alongside Juliana on Brain Damage evokes memories of the Lemonheads classic My Drug Buddy. Altogether, an emotional personal album that obviously means as much to them as it does to their adoring fans...
