5.0 out of 5 stars a gemtle dreamscape of an album, 29 July 2001
a gentle dreamscape of an album - summer will be a colder place without it. sounds from beyond walls, behind smokescreens, underwater. to play this album from start to finish disjoints space and time, to loop the tracks, maybe as jelinek intended, creates a parallel universe where the outer world slips into soft focus. jelinek has created an indefinable genre, inhabited at its far reaches by the avalanches and bjork and wholly unsullied by beatle influences. not many can claim that. a gem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very different, persist and you are rewarded, 25 Mar 2010

I'm a typical jazz fan, and heard some of this (Drift) on Radio 3.

It's hard work the first time. Persist. You cannot listen to it with any background noise (in a car is disastrous)as you miss too much. Like Thelonious Monk, the structure reveals itself with time and it is wonderful.
