I first saw this concert on VHS and was impressed with the tracklist on the back so I baught it, watched it and thrilled with it!!!
Bon Jovi are a fantastic band when playing live, and this VHS justifies that completely. The picture and sound are as-good-as DVD quality, widescreen and crystal clear, and the band themselves are in fantastic form, playing all the classic stadium hits aswell as some new (at the time) material from the CRUSH album, which soon enough will also become classic stadium tracks!
The real down-point is that the VHS is cut down to just 13 songs, where as the DVD version contains the full concert, plus 2 music videos,a discography, and a 30 minute backstage documentry of the band on tour. So if you do have a DVD-ROM player, then you absolutely MUST take advantage of it and purchase the DVD version.
If you are a new BJ fan, then this concert will certainly encourage you to go and see them live!
If you don't already own this concert, keep clear of the VHS and get the DVD, but if, like me, you do already have the VHS then I guess its worth buying the DVD just for the extra stuff.
Either way, sit back and enjoy the ride!

I have been a BJ fan since "slippery", I have seen them live, I have read many gig reviews, and it's true to say that BJ have NEVER given a poor performance. However, I agree with an earlier reviewer, that the band do seem a little lacklustre, looking like they are near the end of a very tough schedule.

With that in mind, it must be said that the (individual) performances are superb, i.e. cannot be faulted.

My only criticism is that too much emphasis is placed on the "new" album, with large chunks of thier "essential" back catalogue ignored.

If you have never seen BJ live, this DVD will give you an excellent idea of what to expect, when you DO see them live, they will be SO much better, I promise.

and I loved this DVD, but there is one thing, I feel that some of the songs were not performed as well as they could have been, but saying that you do get a good show on this, even when it is pouring down with rain these guys rock.
Only one thing better than watching them live on your TV, and that is seeing them in concert, who knows maybe One Wild Night tour will be put on DVD as I feel that was performed better, but maybe I am biased being at one of the dates.
Check out the added extras on this, you get nearly 30 minutes of chat with the guys as well as a discography. All in all a good DVD, but performance was a little low on some songs.

This video is good but not as good as live from london! so if its one or the other go for live from london. Better songs and performance on live from london, however it does have new crush songs, say it isn't so, its my life, captain crash, but no one wild night!?

It's just amazing! This DVD contains a lot of things. First of all, the SHOW. The whole show on is just a gem. The sound and the quality of the images are fantastic. For all of you who love that kind of music and more especially for those who ever went to a Bon Jovi show before, believe me, you have the impression to be at one of their shows! They are all awesome. And above all, their are a lot of bonus stuff on the DVD. The hit singles videos "It's my life" and "Say It Isn't So" figures on the DVD and 30 minutes of "Backstage with Bon Jovi", which includes interviews of the guys, live footages and many more. You must have it. It's worth its money, believe me.

Recorded in Switzerland in 2000, this live concert captures a newly reformed Bon Jovi during 'The Crush Tour', their first major tour in five years to promote their comeback album 'Crush'.

The sound and visual quality on this DVD is excellent, and the guys deliver a high power performance. No less than seven tracks from the aforementioned album are played, including the signature song 'In My Life'. Other highlights include the always crowd pleasing numbers 'Livin' On A Prayer', 'Bad Medicine', and a wonderful piano reworking of their debut hit 'Runaway'. The show has everything, a great atmosphere, a great deal of audience participation, plenty of nostalgia, and a positive nod to the future. The only tiny downside for me was that they didn't play any material from the 'These Days' album, but with such a show, I can easily look past that.

This value for money DVD also includes plentiful bonus features, including the music videos for 'In My Life' and 'Say It Isn't So'. If you haven't seen them live yet - 'The Crush Tour' should wet your appetite until then.

I have been a Bon Jovi fan for many years, but I had never seen them live. When this was released, I bought it and was so impressed that the next time Bon Jovi were touring in this country I decided I would like to see if they are actually this good live. I was not disappointed, they are even better live!!! Any true Bon Jovi fan and indeed any new Bon Jovi fan will find this a true insight into the best live band ever!!!!

Who said Aerosmith were America's greatest rock n roll band? This DVD once again stakes Bon Jovi's claim to the title. A fun packed high energy performance sees the New Jersey Boys ripping through high octane numbers like Its my life and Bad Medicine to the wonderful piano re-working of Runaway. The standard of musicianship is exteremly high, these guys know how to play and Richie shows what an overlooked guitar player he is. The only slight failing of this video is a dip in audiance reaction to the 3 songs taken from the crush album at the start after bursting on stage with Living on a prayer. Despite all this I feel the songs selected on the Live in London video are better than the ones on this DVD - and not one song from These Days is featured, a real shame. On the DVD picture and sound quality is as you would expect - Fantastic. Overall if you want a Jovi DVD get this, it you want a video the get Live in London Video.

The atmosphere of this concert is great! My only gripe is that there were a couple of the better known songs are missing; the picture quality is what you expect for a film of this age which was originally a live TV broadcast; also it still has song titles etc which isn't a problem; the sound however is very good, I found using the Dolby Digital 5.1 decode was the most satisfying sound. All in all for the atmosphere and sound alone this is a great buy (especially second hand).
