5.0 out of 5 stars LA7 is reaching for stars, all five of them!, 15 Oct 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: S Club 7: L.A. 7 [VHS] [2000] (VHS Tape)
"S Club 7 in LA" (aka LA7) is the second series by the group, following their world-wide hit, "S Club 7 in Miami," viewed by over 90 million people world-wide. This new BBC series is looking whiter and brighter, and will very likely out-rate their first. The series is 13 episodes long and follows the sensational S Club 7 as they try to make it as a pop group in the USA. With lots of laughs the seven find themselves in various situations, where they try to make the best of things, have fun, and sing too. Featuring music of the second album 'Seven' (which shot straight to no. 1 on the UK charts), and with title track 'Reach' as themesong, the second series is surely going to be a hit. Hosting fantabulous episodes such as 'Clever Camp', 'Mr Muscle' and 'Game Boy', it's something you just can't miss. Don't miss out on LA7, because it is truly reaching for the stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars They got better with every new series..., 17 Jun 2005
This review is from: S Club 7: L.A. 7 [VHS] [2000] (VHS Tape)
And this second series is testiment to this fact. It sees the gang in "La La Land" as Hannah from the group calls it, trying to make themselves famous yet again and getting nowhere at the same time. The acting is much better this time round, the storylines are a lot better but not only that, the punchlines are even more hilarious, my favourite being from the episode "Fall Out"...
TINA (to Jon): I'm not talking to you!
JON (to Tina): Well I'm not talking to you
*continues with Paul & Hannah, and Brad and Jo, until it gets to Rachel...*
RACHEL: I haven't got anyone to not talk to!
I recommend the second series to you highly if you own the first- you'll love this just as much!

IF you like pop music, comedy and a whole lot of silliness, this is the video for you! First of all the S cluBbers started off in Miami but now they have moved up in the world to L.A. Now the band are struggeling to make ends meet so get all sorts of strange but funny jobs.
