This is the ultimate wrestling documentary. For those of you you who liked "Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows" then you will love this as much as I did. The film show a no-hold-barred look at the world of pro wrestling in the US. It follows the careers of Mick Foley, Terry Funk & Jake Roberts. See Mick as he watches his childrens reaction to one of his brutal bouts, see Funk contemplate retirement and see Jake Roberts as a washed-up crack head. It makes for disturbing and exciting viewing. So if you don't mind havening your illusions shattered and are a true wrestling fan, like the director, then see this film now! It really is worth it!

WOW! This is one of the greatest wrestling movie's ever. This WWF (WWE) Movie is about the life of Mick Foley, Jake The Snake Roberts and D.r HARDCORE! Terry Funk. But much more stars than that. This also stars the never forgetting ECW! Days.

I can not agree with other people's glowing reviews of this tape. It falls into that depressing grey area where no wrestling fan will find out anything new here that they didn't already know, and the average non-wrestling fan will most likely not be terribly interested. Right away, Barry Blaustein tries to convince us that the 2 major US promotions are/were WWF and ECW. WWF okay, but ECW? The impression here is that it's the big-time. I can understand if the WCW personnel were unco-operative with Blaustein, but there's only one passing (crude) reference to that promotion. The other major problem with this video is that it's VERY badly edited together. Even worse than heroes Of Wrestling. Really, after having watched this video, you come away without any feeling that you've actually seen anything. It's a mild diversion from life, but so are thousands of other titles. I appreciate that Mr Blasutein was probably trying to avoid lawsuits, but THERE'S NO INFORMATION OF ANY NOTE ON THIS VIDEO. I cannot therefore recommend this tape.
