5.0 out of 5 stars Songs of heart-felt beauty, 27 May 2002
This Christy Moore record, Graffiti Tongue, is for my money one of his very best. The quiet simplicity of expression of the songs on the record conceals a great depth of thought and feeling. Take any of the songs, 'Yellow triangle', ' Folk tale' or 'Rory is gone' a lovely elegy for Rory Gallagher; they are all imbued with a wonderful serenity. Every song on the record is heart-felt. Beautiful

This is an original Christy Moore classic! One guitar, acoustic melody, winning voice....what else do you want?

The quality of the music of Christy Moore is out of discussion although this is not, for sure, his best release ("Voyage" being pretty better for example). This Cd is very honestly manufactured, instruments and voice are both clear and audible, the sound is pretty good. You wont get angry when you will play it in your Hi Fi!
Moore is very engaged in his oneway politically oriented battle and this comes out nearly in every song, this is rather disturbing (the onesidedness!!!).
