5.0 out of 5 stars Game for the archives, 21 Nov 2005
This review is from: Final Fantasy.VII (PC) (Video Game)
For its time it was the greatest game that hit peoples pc and ps1 everywhere. Even though the graphics are outdated at this point of time they still remain to be adaquate as the gameplay boosts it rating up significantly. The gameplay will leave you gob smacked while watching the legendary story line unfold. All the characters are done with large amounts of detail. The only thing that could possibly wrong with this game was that were no extras for people to complete when they had won the final battle against (Well I will leave that for you to find out).
On the whole the grandfather of all RPG games. Lets hope that the new games on the next gen consoles live up to its incredible standards.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best game I have ever played, certainly a massive hit!, 4 Mar 2002

You begin as character, Cloud Strife, a mercenary of the army. Cloud joins a group of demonstrators who call their group 'Avalanche'. Avalanche is a group which fights against a capitalist corporation called 'Shinra' which Cloud does not like either. Cloud also meets different friends and an enemy called Sephiroth who is both difficult and exciting to defeat. Cloud goes on to face perilous adventures and foes, who are fun and exciting to fight. With a range of characters and weapons I give this game 10/10!

This game is highly addictive, extremely enjoyable and very good value for money. I recommend that you buy it, stay away from FF8 thought it's nothing in comparison

Not exactly the reason to own a 3D card, the 640x480 3D fight scenes are offset by the sometimes substandard rendering (which are still 320x200). The story is engaging, if not sometimes a little confusing, the characters are well varied and developed, and with 75-100hrs of playtime, you certainly get your money's worth. The MIDI music however can get really annoying, and for something designed for the Playstation, why does it need such a high spec machine?
