I was very pleased with this (VHS) video, having loved the "Take on Me" video back in the 80s. Somehow it never seemed to be shown in it's entirety on TV, and seeing it again instantly reduced me to a starstruck teenager! My 4 year old loved this too, and keeps asking to watch it again. My only slight gripe is that not all the tracks from the H&D audio CD are included - I am sure there's a good reason, but try explaining to a 4 year old why her particular favourite song isn't included! Still, worth the money for "Take on Me" and "Cry Wolf" alone.

I just got a region free dvd player and this is one of the reasons. I finally saw most of a-ha's video's here for the first time. They're great. I agree with another reviewer why not region 0. According to the package region 1 was the only region not covered.
My only complaint was the I've Been Losing you video. It still a concert video, but it's not the one I remember. I also wish they would have released a new DVD to go with the Singles CD they just released. But I'm thrilled to get this at last.

Yes, I'll admit it - my teen years were the early to mid-80s and among the many bands that I remember listening to was A-Ha. This DVD affords me the chance to finally see the videos which accompanied their singles - some for the first time, others in their full glory. How many people, like myself, remember watching "Take On Me" only for the end to be cut off or for some presenter to talk over part of it?
The picture quality is excellent, the sound is excellent. An interview with the lads and perhaps some more live sets would have been a bonus but I got what I was looking for and I doubt that other A-Ha fans will be disappointed. It was also great to discover that "Hunting High and Low" is still as good a tune as I remember.

I cannot stop watching this dvd and have annoyed most of my family with the constant playing! I was at first worried it would be merely 'Aha in concert' but was delighted to find it showed a compilation of their music videos instead! The collection does not only involve some of their later songs it involves some of their first songs, of which i consider the best of their work. You are also given a chance to look at their lyrics which does help. The only flaw is there are no interviews with the three lads which I was a little disappointed with. On the whole it is a thoroughly good buy!

I have always liked Morten Harkets Voice and this Dvd only proves once again that a-ha are incredibly talented. It includes 90% of their hits but unfortunately does not include any new material from their new album - Major Earth Major Sky. There is no angle options on this dvd but it has subtitles and is a fantastic investment.

I bought this DVD of the Norway lads about two weeks ago. I had actally bout the VHS when it first came on sale 1991 but lost it. This DVD is great, has all their old hits like take on me, sun always shines on tv, stay on these roads etc and the vidoes that went with the songs. Its just great to pop it in the DVD player and escape back to care free days. Any a-ha fan would be advised to get a copy. Its great.

Finally, a replacement for at least some of the videos on my aging tapes made from MTV... The only gripe I have is that the DVD is playable in regions 2 through 6 -- would it really have lost them anything to make the disc region-free? Apparently they have no intention of releasing it here in the USA....
In any case I greatly enjoyed the videos, and the DVD is a welcome addition to my collection alongside a-ha's CDs.

a-ha have been one of my favourite bands for as long as I can remember, and this is a great collection of many of their greatest hits. Love the rotoscoping technique and the trilogy that is 'Take on Me', 'The Sun Always Shines on TV' and 'Train of Thought'. Even though 'The Living Daylights' is missing, this is a must for any a-ha fan.

Bought for a daughter who grew up when AHA were just starting out on their career. She has said that it has brought back happy memories and has most of their hits on it.
