This is a film that I watch on a regular basis. To me it is one of the best films ever made, It is a classic.
The Glen Millar Story also is in the same class, but then I am an old romantic

Kenneth More at his best - what a superb performance from a superb actor.

More stars as Douglas Bader the fighter pilot from the war era who after an accident loses both his legs. His sheer determination wins him his wings back and the respect of his men, many who are years younger than himself. His subsequent imprisonment on foriegn shores and his escapes, determine Bader as one of the greatest heroes of WWII.

A great feast for the eyes with some spectacular ariel shots.

Classic war movie starring Kenneth Moore as Douglas Bader one of the "Last of the Few." A great supporting cast makes this film one not to be missed. Thoroughly recommended.

This film is as good as I remember it when I first saw it when it was first released in the 1950s, and for a film made 55 years ago the quality is excellent. Highly recommended.

Bought as a surprise for my baby sister as when we were young we always said Kenneth Moore was like our dad.She cried when she unwrapped it. It is certainly a nostalgia watch.

Excellent film of an inspiring man. Kenneth Moore is clearly one of the outstanding actors of his time and has paid a fitting tribute to Douglas Bader. Highly recommended.
