A great feel-good film, perfect for when you feel like being cheered up. It's silly, but also extremely funny, and the two main characters are very likeable. I have lost count of the number of times I have watched it, but every time it never fails to entertain.

I loved this film. I saw it at the cinema when it came out in 1996/97ish and laughed all the way through. Romy and Michelle are two friends who managed to escape the small town atmosphere of Tucson and move to LA. They've been happy for 10 years when they're invited to their High School reunion and they start to wonder whether everything has been as great as they once thought.

Basically, this film is about wanting to impress the people who made your life hell in school and then realising that their opinion don't actually matter anymore. It's a really easy movie to watch with plenty of comedy moments and a fabulous 80's soundtrack.

I actually watched this film first in 9 minute installments on Youtube so it was not the best viewing experience. However, the film itself just made me want to carry on watching the blurry video quality: it is absolutely hilarious. There are countless one liners (I would quote one now but it will just spoil the surprise!) and both Romy and Michele are frickin' incredible! I highly reccommend buying this DVD as it has the watchability factor and you are able to watch it again and again. Fantastic!

this film is so so hillarious. Lisa Kudrow is so good at playing the dumb blonde with charm and actual humour not just toilet humour. The idea is far from original, but who cares, who says that to be agood film it has to be oscar worthy? This film produces some truly funny scenes my faviourite being the one with lisa kudrow trying to scare the little kid in the car, it cracks me up every time i see it. This film is charming is so many ways it dosnt really tesort to toilet humour, it mainly relise on actual jokes and all the actors can make you laugh at something that isnt really that funny in the first place anyway just by saying it in a diffrent way or by changing there manrisms. Dont get the wrong idea about this film it IS well written andf funny and heart warming it is just such a great film and if anybody tells you diffrently then just give it a go what have you got to lose?

this is a very funny film, and all the girls will love it, not the boys i dont think.
the film really shows you how friendship is important and that anyone can make it in life.
it also show how people hurt eachother and what they really feel like.
it is really a great film and i strongely recommend it to you.
this is a must watch film, its great to watch with your friends on a sleep over, it really is fantasric.

This film is hilarious, if you grew up in the 80's and remember big haired school discos then this could be a film for you!
