5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Picture!
This is a really great film, especially as a 'chick flick' but also for guys who are just fans of Jennifer Aniston. Of course, she will always be type-cast as the Rachel character; it's hard to imagine her playing anyone totally different as this is where her talents lie. However, this film has very high feel good factor, and includes the very sexy Kevin Bacon. Also, it's...

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Movie., 12 Mar 2009

This review is from: Picture Perfect [DVD] [1998] (DVD)
If you like romantic comedies, you'll love this.
Jennifer Aniston play Kate who works for a big advertising company, when she doesnt get promoted when she should have, she asks why? her boss tells her thats shes too free, she could leave the company at any time, shes not the 'perfect package' of having a mortagage, house, car, husband & kids. so she then creates a fake Fiance, a guy she met at her friends wedding to act as her husband to be and fool her boss, and also to intice her love interest Sam, who only goes for attched & married women. its a funny and entertaining movie to watch.

4.0 out of 5 stars nice film, 15 Oct 2008
This review is from: Picture Perfect [DVD] [1998] (DVD)
This is another nice Aniston film, this time all revolving around a pretend relationship that was created in her relative's minds purely from a family photo where she was snapped by a strange man. Her family assume she and he are in a relationship and who is she to tell them any different, but first she has to meet him ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great film!, 21 May 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Picture Perfect [VHS] [1998] (VHS Tape)
Jennifer Aniston portrays a woman who will lie to get the job she wants and see it through. She hires Nick (played by Jay Mohr Mmmmmm) and asks him to dump her publically. He can't as he likes her and wants to remain with her so instead, Kate humiliates him to get what she wants. Also, by seeing Nick, Kevin Bacon's role takes an interest in her - as she's not a free agent. Kate realises what she did was wrong, admits to her boss and her lover that it was all a scam and goes to find Nick. nick doesn't want to know at frist - but it has a happy ending - although I wouldn't minding being in Nick's arms instead of Jennifer! Well worth watching!

4.0 out of 5 stars A typical Aniston "rom com" with some really funny moments, 8 Aug 2011
This review is from: Picture Perfect [DVD] [1998] (DVD)
This movie is exactly what you would expect from Jennifer Aniston, she does these "rom coms" so well. In this film she plays ambitious advertising executive Kate. She cannot progress with her career as she does not fit her bosses ideal of "married with a mortgage". Jay Mohr (The Ghost Whisperer) is terrific as wedding photographer Nick and Kevin Bacon is suitably smarmy as the object of Kate's affections. There are some genuinely funny moments in this film. Aniston wears lots of very short, revealing dresses so, although this is a real chick-flick, the guys will probably enjoy it too!

3.0 out of 5 stars Oh hes picture perfect alright ;-), 13 Feb 2001

After getting her picture taken at a wedding with sexy Nick (Jay Mohr) she ends up lying and saying their engaged to get a promotion. Nick ends up pretending to be Kates fiancee at a dinner- which he 'breaks up' with her at. But he falls for her big time, whereas shes just being a bit of a nasty cow to him. The plot doesn't really hold up and the ending is disappointingly ordinary for a rom com and quite frankly most of the characters annoy me, especially Kate who is really cool- but Nick is a sweetie (a sexy sweetie). Its not all that funny either. I think for your average romance to work you really need to love the characters, neither of the main characters really has you rooting for them in the end. Cute, a real chick flick to curl up with, but don't expect too much.
