5.0 out of 5 stars mais avec beaucoup d'humanite, 1 Nov 2001
This review is from: Sans Soleil [VHS] (1983) (VHS Tape)
If there is a more beautiful film about human beings, I have yet to see it. If you have ever been abroad and puzzled over what you've seen, then this film is a fantastic way to renew that first feeling of wonder. Although the film's view is that of the filmmaker Chris Marker, via the fictional character who sends the postcards that the woman is reading in the voiceover, it is a view that any human being would have when they look around them at the rest of humanity, looking at our curious ways for explanations that satisfy. And that is what this film is all about; the eternal gaze of curiosity, the beautiful complexity of life.
