Only in the sense that if you are a collector you will want this. I collect all things related to Motorhead and so I have a complete Fastway catalogue, as I was explaining to Colin and Nigel this afternoon. However, Fastway didn't quite cut it for me, some great songs, the stuff on the Trick or Treat soundtrack was great and it's mostly here. The stand out track is All Fired Up, easily Fastway's best track and it could live with any rock standard.
It's strange that the rest of their music falls so far short of All Fired Up otherwise they could have been right up there. The overall sound, tempo and drive is much more controlled than Motorhead, almost subdued, but there is more attention given to harmony and melody. Technically excellent but the songs don't jump up and grab you, or do much else either.

An essential 2-on-1 title of Fastway's first two lp's - their self-titled debut ('83) and it's follow-up 'All Fired Up' ('84). As always, tracks here that are definitely the most memorable include "Easy Living", their first single "We Become One", "Steal The Show", "Tell Me" and "Stranger". Even better, I heard that Fastway has reunited in the last year or so with guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke being the only original member (even, STIIL they'd be great to catch play live again). They really need to get vocalist Dave King back.

Well worth getting if you need the All Fired Up album, as for some strange reason, on vinyl or CD it fetches silly collector's prices.
Great debut and 2nd albums from the legendary Fastway, and every track is a winner.
