This Sandals LP is a gem of the era, daring to be different from the waves of club music whilst appreciating what was going on around them.It still stands up to repeated listening and if you like Screamadelica, One Dove, Blue Lines etc give it a try. Whilst it's different to those forementioned LP's in a lot of ways it forges a similar path in terms of quality.
There is a version with some mixes by the Chemical Brothers and Leftfield on it which raises the tempo a bit. These mixes don't hold up as well as the original material tho'. Would love to hear the lost LP they recorded after Cracked - any chance of that coming out?
