5.0 out of 5 stars Simply amazing
I bought "Down Here" trying to respond the curiosity "The burdens of being upright" created on myself. This is much better than the first album from Tracy Bonham which had such wonderful songs as "Bulldog" or "Kisses". "Down here" is something more, not as short songs, that mix rageous rock with classical instruments...
The best track in my opinion is "You don't know...

1.0 out of 5 stars Purchasers beware!
Arrived today and turned out to be a music sampler, had only half the tracks and these were mainly classed as "snippets". To rub salt in the wound, the small print on the cd states "For promotional use only - not for sale".

The best track in my opinion is "You don't know me" it has something special... but "Fake it", "You can't always not get what you don't want" and "Cold day in hell" are amazing too...
I bought this album right in 2005 and it's a shame because it was published on 2000... anyway is one of my favourites! THANK YOU TRACY

4.0 out of 5 stars Yery funky, very good, 23 Jun 2000
This review is from: Down Here (Audio CD)
Thsi album see TB take a big step forward. The songs are much funkier. There are of cousre some heavier songs on the album as well as the quite ones and even a solo of her playing the violin. But all in all you can really bop your head to this one!

4.0 out of 5 stars Serious contribution!, 9 Dec 2009
This review is from: Down Here (Audio CD)
This album is musically very well produced and written, enjoyable and easy to listen to. However, it is not as ironic or funny as 'Burdens' and so is a complete turnaround in her style. However, the lyrics are still deep and meaningful and a lot can be got from this album.
