Originally thought to be the Beatles recording under an assumed name this album features very apple-esque mixes of well crafted pop in a pre-prog accross-the-universe feel. The album was realesd as just Klaatu with no credits, liner notes or names.
Later it was discvovered that all the musicians had played sessions on Beatle or Badfinger recordings hence the learning of compositional and recording styles.
Curiously The Carpenters covered "Calling Occupants" and had a minor late-career hit with it.
