5.0 out of 5 stars Timeless Perfection
I am always searching for the perfect album, the album which is totally faultless, which can be listened to over and over again, where there is not a single track you would even consider skipping, not a moment which drags a little, not one second which it could have done without. 5.0 out of 5 stars I Saw It Wriiten & I Saw It Say..., 19 July 2007

The sound of a man preparing to jump into an empty swimming pool.

My favourite of Nick Drake's 3 studio albums is the one preceding this "Bryter Layter" but this final release is a harrowingly visceral vision of the seemingly endless dark night of the soul.

5.0 out of 5 stars New 'Remaster' well worth the effort., 14 Oct. 2000
By A Customer

These new remasters of the old classics are aurally far superior (24 bit remaster) to the previous incarnations(Particularly the Fruit Tree box set). They are much more nicely packaged too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Overall But Lacks Variety, 5 Feb. 2011
This review is from: Pink Moon (Audio CD)
Pink Moon and Which Will are the highlights here, both songs as good as anything else Nick Drake ever recorded. Over the course of the album, though, a certain sameness of sound and mood takes over so that I usually find my attention wandering by the end, which for such a short album means I can't give it the full 5 stars. That said there are no bad tracks here and I would recommend this highly, it is just that I would recommend Five Leaves Left and Bryter Layter even more highly.
