Superbly emotive. A modern exploration of the Irish Baroque had there been a court patronage back in 17th century Ireland for composition on a broader orchestral canvas by the itinerant harpers. Cassidy plays harp, Liam O Flynn uillean pipes, orchestral backing by the London Symphony Orchestra and the Tallis Choir. Deep, rich and mythic. Now out of print, it has become a collector's piece.
