This is a very atmospheric album with a lot of excellent songs that really flows along very well, with nice changes of pace, sometimes to pick up the speed within a song. I like the way one keeps hearing new things even after over ten listens, the detail in the words, sometimes deceptively hard hitting little songs that - like some brasilian music or Carla Bleys earlier jazz - kind of lull you in gently but instead of becoming bland, set you up for a downbeat or carry an unexpected punch in the lyrics.
This has travelled through time very well and it doesnt sound dated

Stunning, brilliant, exceptional, thought provoking, the very best of EBTG, buy it twice in case you loose it and have a spare. I have had this on my CD table for the best part of 10 years and still play it at least once a month.
