Seductive, melodic........fantastic! Have barely had it off my CD player since a friend gave me this CD as a gift a month ago.
Please let the showbiz gods smile as kindly on Paddy as he deserves and let him rule the charts.

This is a fantastic album which fuses rock, funk, folk and most other forms of music into a collection of songs worthy of an epic album. In the resemblence of artists such as Ben Harper, this young Irishman captures the unique mood of each song through the sheer poetry of his lyrics and an eclectic mix of instruments. I first heard this album when studying in Dublin and have been excitedly shoving my lone copy into the CD players of all my closest friends as the disk is (unfortunately) not yet available in the U.S. This album is a true gift.

Do we really need another Irish singer with an attitude? If that singer is Paddy Casey then the answer is yes. There are some really good tracks on this CD, especially the first 3. Whatever Gets You True is one of those songs which will put you in a good mood no matter what. But there are some deeper, moodier thought-provoking tracks. Listen to it a few times - you'll definitely like it.

The album kicks off with the impressive opener,'Fear', and from then on does not let up in its intensity of direct and personal expression. Paddy's unique voice may often make you wonder what he's actually singing, but we're never in doubt that he's singing about something. Looking forward to the next album Tip: Watch out for 'Rainwater'

love this album and if you are looking at this, he has finally pulled his finger out and relearsed a second album, 6 years later!! It too is brilliant and has spent more than a year in the top 20 of the Irish charts! He is simply marvellous, you need this album !!!

This is the most amazing cd I have ever listened to. I first listened to it at my boyfriend's house and have had to buy my own copy off amazon. The last track 'its over now' is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. A deffinite cd to add to your collection.
