Rising from the nineties, this album is as much sheer brilliance now as it was then. It's raw power, the album crosses genres, unifying Asian influences with punk, drum and bass, and dub. At the same time, the album is set against the ever relevant backdrop of unification, fighting injustice and breaking down barriers in society. Whilst newer ADF material such as the 'History of Now' album has a much more polished feel, Rafi's revenge has a raw, gritty and downright heart thumping quality which remains unrivalled.

I got to this album 2 years ago, and I'm still listening to it. It has a raw urban vibe that keeps it real, and out of this planet. The first album Facts and Fiction was (in my opinion) far better, introducing classical indian sounds that many Asians can recognise, with fast paced drum n bass, the album touched upon an area that refreshed my love for music. This album has more of a solidarity in each individual track. Though Community, faild to imress me, bit of a dissapointment, but as a fan I can still listen to a few of the tracks with pure enjoyment. Any fan of music must but this album for their collection.

Fantastic finding this album via Amazon - my copy disappeared years ago. My personal ADF favourite and still sounds as good and relevant. As soon as I put it on I start to dance and it brings back good memories of festivals etc.

VINE VOICEon 6 February 2000
After the tired and unimaginative Britrock/pop music scene disolved, ADF rised from its ashes to deliver some of the most freshest confrontational music in a long time. Although ADF and this record were, and still are cult underdogs, this is by far one of the best records of the late 90's. Political rhymes, beats, hooks and aggression are all on this album, held together primarily by simple Asian melodies and coated with an icing of punk, hip-hop and dub. This album is pure class. You do not have the right to say a bad thing about this album, and you do not have the right to not buy this record.

This has to be up there with the best albums of all time. Any reviewer who in any shape or form has critised this album in any way really does not know what they are talking about. The album is actually almost entirely a re-mix of the earlier and less well known ADF album 'RAFI' hense the title 'RAFI's Revenge', the orginal RAFI being much more in keeping stylistically with ADF's debut 'Fact and Fictions'.Why ADF decided to re-mix the album I have no idea - but the result is astonishing and simply a class recording, receiving awards at the time and quite rightly so. ADF were at this time to my reckoning 'The Clash' of the day and totally under-rated. I say that because The Clash breathed new vibes into rock and roll whilst ADF did the same for dub. And as a total Clash fan I have total admiration for ADF's ability and feel vindicated in my comments. MC Navigator gives a decent twist of lemon as well. Buy it.

Absolutely storming second album from the Asian underground stars; bursting with energy from start to finish and packing enough punch to send Tyson reeling. Viciously political without turning into a rant, this album piles on the drum'n'bass with a trowel, and all the better for it in my opinion. If you can, get the new special edition with four bonus tracks; the live version of 'Charge' is breathtaking, especially at the correct (very high) volume. Fantastic.

Reallly love the couple of albums I already had, Facts and Fiction brilliant, Community Music pretty good, too. This album Rafi's Revenge bears no relationship musically and I doubt I will ever listen to it again.

This is the one for all you people who like alternative reggae music. I don't think this album is better than community music but it still rocks! For those of you who are thinking of buying this, consider a new version with an extra 4 live recordings. Still this gives a true account of ADF's style of music, more reggae like in this album. GET BOTH ALBUMS NOW! ^_^
