5.0 out of 5 stars An important instrumentalist, 16 April 2011
This review is from: The Swan Singles Collection (Audio CD)
A digipak which opes up to reveal 3 full page photos and seperate pockets for a booklet and the actual 26 track disc.
It kicks off with what I rate as Wray's finest hour-Jack the Ripper.
Link Wray began as a country singer on Starday with his brother and he insists on a few vocals which aren't anything special but the reason for his poor voice is he only had one lung.
He cut possibly the first cover of the Beatles' Please please me-included here-and a great version of Batman
