A true forgotten classic! This album defines the sound of mid nineties jungle/drum and bass, from Boymerang - Where are they now?
Some classics indeed - Soul Beat Runna was a huge tune at the time and is a firm favourite with many DnB heads. ACID does it for me, lush, organic yet dark sweeps and drum stabs. The reknowned You Like It Like That also features on the album. Many inspirations for current production originate here.
Not one track that lets this masterpiece down. Buy it, turn the lights out and enjoy. And if the producer ever reads this - please please give us more!!

Cannot recommend highly enough.
I rmember buying this on vinyl the day after hearing it at a mate's house a decade ago. Just got the CD after realising my copy has been temporarily misplaced... It really is special. Half of the tracks on here are fairly forgetable and to be honest i've always skipped a few.
However, the other half more than make up for it. Incredibly lush and sensual soundscapes laid over hypnotic beats, with clever basslines that fit perfectly. Trying to describe it makes me go all soppy for my youth.
If you were into this scene in the mid 90s, then this is a must have. If not, then check this album out to get a feel for it.

i bought this cd because i love the song 'still', which i first heard on 'prototype years' compiled by the one and only Grooverider. although for me it remains the best song on the cd, the rest of the tunes are very good and are in keeping with the dark (and sometimes even sinister!) feel of the album. If youre like me and love deep, dark and intelligent jungle but cant tolerate the mega-fast, cacofonous noise that some artists produce, then add this little gem to your collection.

Flamboyantly delivered - this was essential listening when released. Nothing has changed. A polished diamond of cerebral drum and bass.
