It is rare for me to buy an album and like every song, but this album is exceptional. It is a fantastic selection of Inspiral Carpets music. From the haunting "Two World's Collide," to the thought-provoking "Bitches Brew," I cannot recommend this album enough. This is the Inspirals at their best, and despite the age of the album, the lyrics are as strong and relevant now, and the tunes as beautiful, as they were when it was first released.

Bought this in the days of Tower Records and their 'No Risk Disk' Took a couple of listens but was grabbed by opener "Generations" and hit "Two Worlds Collide" and loved the cover. Listening now I think I appreciate it more. IC did make some good low key indie pop and ROTG is by far the highlight of their output. May not win new fans but for those looking to recaptur the early nineties this is a pretty good start

Inspiral Carpets' best album in my opinion, shows their transition from baggy Madchester music to a mature indie band. No filler songs, all great. Highlights are probably: Generations, Bitches Brew, Dragging Me Down, Two Worlds Collide and Smoking Her Clothes.

Classic, well recommended and look forward to their new album in September! Keep the faith.

Am currently collecting Inspirals albums, going to see them on Saturday in Manchester, then again when they support Happy Mondays in May...listened to this tonight and its brilliant, takes you right back to the heady 90's Madchester music scene...lovely bit of nostalgia, great album !!!

Loved this album (ahem, Tape) first time round. Still love it now. A guilty pleasure that stays in my car. "Saviour" is my fave, played nice and loud on a decent hifi. Great.
