Who are the blue meanies? Why is it only a northern song? Where did they get that artwork from? Was everyone stoned when they made this?

Great film, great music!!!

We were really disappointed with the quality of this copy of the film. There was no certification or copyright blurb on the box or dvd sticker which immediately stood out and sure enough the severly bitmapped title sequence and poor sound quality at the beginning of the film was only a taster of things to come. Just before the 'Nowhere man' sequence the dvd decided to come to a juddery stop and miss out chunks and the dodgy scene selection icons didn't let us return to the action that we had missed. So gutted that our viewing of this iconic bit of animation was impaired by this clearly pirated version of the film. Like a previous reviewer we were surprised that amazon has let this slip through its usually fabulous fingers!

The film is brilliant, remember it from my childhood. But the information is wrong because The Beatles did not voice the parts in the film. They were done well known british actors of the time. One was Geoffery Hughes, 'Eddie Yeats' from Coronation Street and later 'Keeping Up Apperances' fame. The Beatles did appear during the closing credits.
