5.0 out of 5 stars A true discovery !!, 27 April 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Incoerente Jazz (Audio CD)
I stumbled upon this CD by chance !!
I must admit that I have beentotally captured by Rossana's delicate, sophisticated and soulfulvoice.
Girlish and crisp,it seduces you immediately and then you just want moreand more of those languid and jazzy tunes, perfectly delivered.
I was not aware that Rossana is American, born in New York, but lives inRome now.
Certainly she has taken the best from the two schools, the American and theItalian : the mix works wonderfully and the result is a veryenjoyable, cool, jazzy album that you'd like to share with your....love !!

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Rossana, 14 Jan 2003
This review is from: Incoerente Jazz (Audio CD)
Rossana is the only italian pop singer that often propounds personal covers of Cole Porter, George Gershwin or Marvin Gaye in her live repertory. In her recent past she has sung masterpieces composed by brazilian songwriters like Toquinho, De Moraes and Jobim. Her voice is sweet and bright and suits very well to the words of songs that sometimes are portraits of sea-towns, sometimes fairy tales or sophisticated love poems.

Rossana Casale is the only italian pop singer that always includes personal covers of Cole Porter, George Gershwin or Marvin Gaye in her live repertory. She has sung masterpieces written by great brazilian song-writers like Toquinho, De Moraes and Jobim in her recent past. Her voice is sweet and bright and suits very well to italian melodic and swing songs that sometimes are lively portraits of sea towns, sometimes fairy tales or sophisticated love-poems.
